Example 17: Building up bone from the chin in region 21, 22 front following trauma, followed by implantation

Initial situation with a lot of bone loss at the front due to accident
(trauma). There is too little bone volume to make attractive crowns
on implants.

Bone was taken from the chin area and was screwed into the problem
area in the upper jaw.

Five months later the osteosynthesis screws were removed from the
bone transplants.

The implants were placed.

The bone from the drill holes was retrieved and laid around the bone
transplants. A resorbable (soluble) membrane was placed on top of this.

The wound was closed. Three months later the crowns could be placed.
